For the square DW-5600 family, a NATO adapter slides a single nylon strap underneath the watch case and through both bolt-down strap mounts. No tools needed. This is the easiest way to dramatically change the look of a square G-Shock.

Stainless-Steel Bracelet Conversions

How to Change a G-Shock Strap

Bolt-Down (DW-5600, DW-6900, GMW-B5000)

1. Use a small Phillips screwdriver to remove the four resin retention screws (two per side).
2. Slide the resin strap end out of the case retainer.
3. Slide the new strap end in.
4. Re-tighten the four screws — snug, not over-tight.

Standard Spring-Bar (G-Steel, MTG with adapter)

1. Use a spring-bar tool to compress the spring bar.
2. Lift the strap end out.
3. Insert new strap, compress the spring bar, seat it in the lug hole.
4. Repeat on the other side and tug to verify.

NATO Adapter (Square G-Shocks)
